My wife and I recently had the pleasure of working with Shades Direct in Coromandel and Bay of Plenty, and we cannot speak highly enough of the fantastic service, top-notch quality, and impressive durability they provided. In December 2022, we had clear drop-down shades installed at our Bach in Whangamata, and the experience was so impressive that we decided to have more installed on the other side of the house this December.

Arrived home today to absolute delight with how wonderful the pergola looks! It was a light rain with no wind, and a beautiful rainbow framed between the posts - couldn't have looked better. I wish to thank Taranaki Shades Direct for carrying out an amazing job of our new “Clearspan” roof that really compliments our home. Chris was very talented from quoting to installing, he had given us so many options to pick from. Chris and his co-worker had shown friendliness and professionalism. In 2012 I started renovating my 1960s house to make it one for the 21st century. The final step was a new car port. I checked three options and decided on Shades Direct’s Outsider Awning. From the time Scott Lanning made the initial consultation visit to the final installation I was impressed with the care taken and attention to detail. The awning has added to the house substantial covered in space which is fabulous. I subsequently added Outdoor Curtains so in wet weather all of that extra space can stay dry. Shades Direct is a quality product. My choice has been much complimented by neighbours, friends and other visitors.

Hi Scott - just a note to let you know we are most impressed with our Outsider Awning and curtains that have come through the last two major storms with flying colours. The easterly wind (in June 2014) was horrendous, by far the worst we have had in twenty odd years here. Incidentally the curtains were down at the time. This installation is the best best thing we could have done, it's absolutely perfect. We use it all year round. Thanks again for your expertise and excellent service

Shades Direct carried out the construction of an Awning at my address on Friday 4 April 2014. This job was completed by Scott and his team as we had discussed and planned. We are very pleased with the quality of the materials, the efficiency and speed in which the Awning was constructed and the final outcome is that we have an addition to our home which we are proud of and which will provide us with all of the outcomes we had hoped for. Hi Rodger - after two large sails got ripped down due to the strong northeast winds our deck is exposed to, Rodger installed a Outsider awning. I would like to thank Rodger and his helping hand for installing the outsider on our huge deck, with a view to die for,now completely usable. It was installed with profession, finesse and speed. I cannot fault it. Previously the deck was completely unusable as it was too hot in the summer and too wet during the other seasons. I am very impressed at the difference it has made and will not hesitate to recommend him and his workmanship to others.
